Beloved Crane

Everyday dawn is an artifact of our relationship

It expresses a symbiosis beyond mere courtship

As we transcend the realm of hardship

And come together united and Unum

Just as in the popular US dictum

That romanticizes E pluribus Unum

If this bears the foundation of US Statecraft

It also conveys the peculiarity of our own Lovecraft

Unum on board our own vessel, call it our aircraft

Pilot of Love and conqueror of the horizon

With you, I want to witness the rising sun

And sing different songs and melodies in unison

Paradise is always where the love dwells

With you, everyday, my love swells

To never crack like mollusca seashells

The dance of cranes heralds love and joy

And a celebration of life we enjoy

The origami crane is not childish toy
